
Sale And Purchase Of Land
Two new precedents have been added to the Sale and Purchase of Land guides: a Deed of covenant and a Deed of rectification.
The commentaries have been enhanced with:
- information about electronic mortgage applications;
- guidance on the Land Registry’s new RXC Restriction – Consent or Certificate form;
- a mention of the new CON29DW Drainage and Water Enquiry – Commercial form;
- an update on the removal of the requirement to have an EWS1 External Wall System certificate for buildings under 18m in height;
- a link to the Land Registry’s page on Accepted signatures which gives a very useful summary of the types of documents for which electronic signatures are acceptable; and
- some practical guidance on making a first registration application where some or all of the deeds have been lost or destroyed.
